It seems that within one day, the major plans I had for the week have now been changed. But I'm not mad, I think the new plans are equally appealing if not moreso :) I no longer have to attend my hearing tomorrow, however I will have to go to trial in about 2 months. This is not necessarily a good thing, but for immediate purposes this is. I don't have to take the day off anymore, and I'll still be off Thursday through next Tuesday :D Good thing my boss suggested that I carry over all my overtime hours rather than charging them. Good move, hehe. I thought about taking next Wednesday off rather than this Thursday... still thinking about it... Anyway, the Vegas trip that was planned for this weekend has been cancelled due to unfortunate events. It's ok though. My cousin and I are just going to party all weekend in SD! Partying starts Thursday. Who's with me? Hehe, j/k ;)

The weekend is never long enough... this weekend was only 2 days! Ugh, AS IF :P But despite it's short-lived existence, it turned out to be ok. Friday, I took a nap and ended up just sleeping throughout the night. It was a LONG week last week. It finally caught up to me. A while ago, I received a lot of coupons via snail mail to get a bunch of free stuff since I am "new" to the neighborhood. I decided to take advantage of a few of them this weekend. I got a free haircut on Saturday, after which I got a free burrito from Chipotle. That didn't come in the mail, but it was the Summer Solstice offer they had earlier in the week! I don't like their burritos. I'll try something else next time. That night, I hung out with some friends who came up from SD and we went to a friend's graduation party. It was kind of nice to be around UCLA again, or more like in West LA, but being at the party made me feel OLD... kind of. All his friends were 22ish or younger but the people I went with are older than me, so it wasn't that bad, hehe. The people and the party were fun. I wish making friends was always this easy, haha. Good times. Sunday, I didn't do much but I did go grocery shopping and got some free groceries! Yay for these random coupons.

The past is coming back to haunt me. I have to show up for a hearing in the MIDDLE of next week in SAN DIEGO! Aay... I had to promise I'd show up or else they'd subpeona (sp?) me. How would that work? I don't think a sheriff could come to my work anyway. I had something important I had to do for work next Wednesday, too. Oh well... this is more important. I hate accidents.

Since all my posts have been wiped out from the server transfer, I decided to start using Blogger instead of greymatter since it is more user friendly, and I don't have time to fiddle faddle with gm :) I put up a temporary template layout just so that I could have something up. I can't wait to design a new layout again!
