Sunday: I got to Chicago a bit after noon and first tried Harold's chicken wings. We continued to walk around the Wicker Park area (where my friend lives) and picked up some ice cream from Oberweis, a delicious dairy and creamery... mmm... I had the turtle sundae. Later that night, my friends had a barbeque at the new place and we had so much food!
Monday: Took the El Train (subway) to go shopping to The Magnificent Mile and went shopping. I finally got to check out H&M, but sadly I wasn't too impressed. The store was ridiculously huge and it took me forever to peruse the store.
We ate at Giordano's for lunch and I tried some Chicago pizza. Let me tell you... I was hurting so bad from all the food!
We walked around some more and checked out Millenium Park as well as Grant Park and saw the Buckingham Fountain. The city is so beautiful.
That night we went to a white party at Reserve, then headed out to Ontourage and partied until morning!
Tuesday: We woke up late Tuesday morning, but we managed to get out and explore Navy Pier. There are a lot of shops and a Smith Museum of Stained Glass. It's a pretty long pier with a beautiful view of the city as well as Lake Michigan. We stayed until night and when on an architecture boat tour and watched the fireworks from the boat. It was so pretty!
After that, we tried out the famous Weiner's Circle and the hot dogs were delicious!
Wednesday: My friend had work this day so I took the subway to go see Wrigleyfield and walk around Wrigleyville. Unfortunately, the Cubs weren't playing this week so I couldn't go inside and see much of the field nor watch a game :(
For dinner, we went to Smoke Daddy for some delicious ribs! It was really cool because there was a live jazz/blues band playing. Afterwards, we checked out the Signature Lounge in the John Hancock Center and had a couple drinks. It was a beautiful view!!!
Thursday: We headed back to Grant Park and wandered around Taste of Chicago, which I think is an awesome idea!
After engorging ourselves with food that Chicago has to offer, we walked over to the Sears Tower and went up to the Skydeck. I got an amazing view of the whole city. Luckily, the visibility was good!
I picked up some Chicago mix popcorn (half cheddar, half caramel) and although it sounds pretty disgusting, it is so addicting and good. It's as my friend would say, "crack" Hehe... That night we partied hard and went to Dragonfly and then hit up Sound-Bar. I don't remember too much, it was that fun :)
Friday: This was a chill day. We went to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 2. I don't know what to say about the film, but I agree with this review word for word. The rest of the day was pretty much more food! I tried Al's Italian Beef and Gino's Pizza. I liked the sauce for Gino's but I like the crust for Giordano's better. That night was pretty chill. We stopped by Darkroom and got a late night meal at Swank Frank... yes, more hot dogs and a fried twinkie :)

What I loved best about Chicago:
- ease of use and cleanliness of public transportation (subways, cabs)
- cleanliness of city
- architecture and the attention to detail
- revolving doors
- the food!
- the weather, only because it was surprisingly mild while I was there
- my awesome tourguide! :)
What I didn't get to do (but don't completely regret):
- the aquarium
- the planetarium
- fried dough
- italian ice
- White Castle
- shopping at Delia's
- Cubs game
- blues club
Overall, I'd have to say that I LOVE Chicago!!! :D
