This weekend went by so fast. I went to a sample sale on Saturday and bought some designer jeans and stuff. My cousin met up with me there and convinced me just to stay in the area even though I didn't have any stuff for the weekend. We had coffee, shopped, and had dinner with the family that day. Sunday was pretty much a lazy day and we didn't know what to do. We forced ourselves out of the house because it was such a beautiful day outside. We got some coffee in downtown Brea and decided to go to the park. We thought about flying a kite but since the wind wasn't blowing much, we just played on the jungle gyms and then played a little basketball. I miss being active. Hopefully I'll keep it up :D

I think this year is my year to just be active and do things that I'm not used to. I've already snowboarded a lot this season and although I don't think I've perfected the sport, I've improved so much over this one season. It's given me the push to do other things I've wanted to do but haven't seriously thought about. I went to the driving range a couple times last week with some coworkers. The current team I work with are golfers. I had a lot of fun so it might be a sport I may pick up :) It's nice to get out and do things with new people. I also might start playing tennis with Bieu when it gets a little warmer. It'll be great if I really get into it because I heard it's such a great workout! We're also going to continue to play pool... I need more practice. I've thought about really learning to swim this year (or perhaps just overcoming my fear of treading water since I can swim already), and then taking up surfing. How exciting! I've always wanted to surf, but dismissed the idea because I wasn't a confident swimmer. I never appreciated the sun and beach, but I think I have more of an appreciation for it after visiting Hawaii last year. I still prefer the snowy mountains, but I need something to do during the warmer months too :)

My new pillows, new 500tc egyptian cotton sheets, and new 3" memory foam mattress topper have been making it very difficult to get out of bed lately :)

I must have partied pretty hard recently because I lost 5 pounds this past weekend, haha. We didn't get a chance to eat too much, but I had so much fun! We didn't spend much money at all either thanks to friends and family... I love it! It was Meg's birthday a couple of weeks ago so this weekend was for her. We started partying on Thursday before we left. We hit up Ziing's in downtown Fullerton.

We headed out to Las Vegas on Friday morning so that we wouldn't hit the St. Patty's Day and March Madness traffic that was heading to the same destination. A lot of our other friends were driving up to Vegas as well, so we knew it was going to be a busy weekend. Friday night we got special treatment because Maree had the hookups and we got escorted to the front of the line at Pure in Caesar's Palace. It was really nice inside but we got over it really quick because the placed got packed fast. There was girl drama after, but I'd rather not talk about it, haha. After we left, we hung out with some friends in the Venetian, my cousins with theirs and me with mine, and called it a night at 5AM.

We woke up at 1PM the next day and got some food at PF Chang's in Aladdin and then went to the Fashion Show mall. Next thing you know, it was time to get ready to party again. We tried to hit up Jet in the Mirage but it didn't work out as planned. We were on the list but the bouncers were giving us a hard time. It was sort of a buzz kill but the night turned out for the better when we went to the V Bar at the Venetian. All our friends met up there so it was awesome to have everyone in one place! We didn't have to split up our time like the night before. We hung out a little after and got stuff to eat and by the time we decided to go home, it was 6AM and the sun was coming up. That's what I call partying like a rockstar ;) haha j/k!

We ate at the Wynn buffet before we left. The food was ok but a little pricey... good to experience though. I didn't get home until 12AM last night and now I'm exhausted and need a vacation from this little vacation. *sigh*

I hope I don't end up falling asleep today. I only got 4 hours of sleep last night. I took a semi-spontaneous trip out with Maree last night. A friend of ours from out of town was down so we hung out. We took a trip to Universal City Walk, then went to The Dresden for some drinks and watched Marty and Elayne, hehe. It was pretty cool but I was half-awake hence half-entertaining all night. After we hung out there for a bit, we went to get some Pink's hot dogs. Pretty cool because there wasn't really a line... probably because it was Tuesday night, and who parties on a Tuesday night?!? We do apparently.

Like how most of my plans have been lately, this weekend's didn't turn out like expected. I was supposed to spend the weekend and in Big Bear and in the midst of my excitement, the trip was cancelled on Friday. BOO! To make up for it, we went to High Sunday morning only to board for a little less than half the day since my cousin wanted to leave already. I wish we stayed longer, but at least I got some really good runs in and I didn't fall off the lift at all!!! The rest of the weekend was pretty chill... not much going on except errands and such. I foresee a much more exciting weekend coming... ;)

This weekend went by pretty fast unfortunately. Friday I had to work half day to make up for Thursday, then after I went to my cousin's house so that we could go boarding that night. We drive up there, fought traffic only to find that someone crashed into the power line and knocked the power out for the resort. There was fresh snow on the mountain and I was so upset to get there and find no lifts running.

Saturday, I hung out with my cousins all day. That night we had a mini cocktail party for the birthday girl, but she had to be somewhere else. So drunken karaoke was all on our own. Fun times anyway.

Sunday my cousin and I went to Mtn High because I didn't want to end the weekend without going. It was a pretty good trip because I felt like I did pretty well. Some funny moments too :)

Overall, the weekend was pretty normal. I was thinking about staying home next weekend since I've only stayed home one weekend this whole year so far, but I think I might be taking another trip. Depending on whether or not I go on this trip, I have the option of taking a business trip early next week. If I get to do all, that would be awesome! I'm just waiting on confirmations... argh!

Hmm... I'm feeling a bit betrayed by some "good friends" today. It's just weird when it's more than one friend! I know this makes no sense when I keep it vague but I thought I'd just mention it. *sigh* Anyway... I'll update on my weekend later.

Yesterday was a lot of fun, yet it was exhausting and grueling as well... but that goes with the nature of the business, hehe. I went to the taping/concert for CD USA, a show and channel only on Direct TV (good thing I have it!). The episode I taped for will air this Saturday at 3PM PT on channel 101, so tune in and tape it for me if you can! There were two stages and I was in the very front for one of them so hopefully I'll get some shots in, haha! So here's the lineup I got to see: All American Rejects (I think Tyson and Nick are so cute!), Aly & AJ, Remy Ma, Hot Hot Heat, Flipsyde, and OK Go. Mario was also there for an interview. I've been to a HHH show before with my beloved ex-roomies and at that time Mouse and I joked about how Steve, the lead singer, actually looked at us while performing, haha. I'm going to have to say this again, but this time it was before and during their performance! While they were waiting to start their song, they were kind of walking around the stage. Since I was in the very front, I could see everything and they could see me. I swear he looked at me a few times and I'm not talking about just a glance but like a good hard look! LOL... I wanted to say hi but I thought it would make me look like one of the teeny boppers I was surrounded by. In retrospect, I wish I did wave or something so maybe I could get some sort of wave or wink in return, LOL! Oh well... he still came up really close and leaned over to me when he performed. Too bad the damn cameraman was sticking his butt in front of me.
