I'm finally feeling normal again. For the past week, my body was feeling so crappy! My body was fighting an infection so I was suffering from fevers, chills, back pain, lack of appetite, etc. I had to take a few days off and basically slept all day, and I hate taking PTO for when it matters! Hehe... I usually like to save my PTO for vacations and such. I saw the doctor and even the chiropractor. Anyway, I started feeling a little better this weekend, much better on Monday, and probably almost completely normal today... almost. The only good thing that came out of this sickness was dropping a few pounds, haha. I hope it stays off, but I'm trying to lay off working out for a little while until I feel like my body's strong enough to take it. I'm just happy that my health improved before going to SD and HI :) Today's my last day of work!

In the past week, we also have had some holiday parties for work. We had a luncheon for our business area on Monday at The Proud Bird. I got lucky and won a $25 gift certificate during the raffle! Yesterday, we had our white elephant gift exchange at none other than The Elephant Bar in Torrance. I managed to secure the most coveted gift there (a Crown Royal gift set) :) I've been getting pretty lucky at these Christmas functions!

I'm tired. This weekend should have been longer. I spent this Friday running errands. Not the most fun Friday night.

Saturday morning, I woke up early and had lunch with B, his mom and brother in Rowland. After that we went shopping for a gift for his "mom", but it turned out it was for me! Today's our 1 month anniversary, haha (aaawww). He bought me a white gold necklace and star pendant with diamonds (0.28ct) :D I love it! Before leaving the area to go to dinner, we watched the last quarter of the UCLA vs USC game. I'm so happy and excited that the Bruins won!!! Yay for my alma mater :D We went to dinner for M's birthday at Pane e Vino. The food was ok, but the service was HORRIBLE (don't forget to write a review, K)! They practically ignored us the whole night. We went bowling after that, but due to unfortunate events we cut the bowling festivities early. We tried to go to the Pink Berry down the street, but unfortunately it was closed already. I still haven't been there! Instead we ended the night at a boba cafe amongst good company :)

Sunday morning was an interesting one. I've been wanting to get B a Wii for Christmas, but they keep flying off the shelves before I can even get to the store to check. My friend tipped me off about Walmart and Target getting a shipment and holding their stock until Sunday. Since we were planning to drop by SD later that day, I wanted to get it as early as possible. Walmart opens at 7AM, Target opens at 8AM. I woke up at 6AM and was outside of Walmart by 630AM. As luck has it, once they opened they told us that they don't have any in stock and that they will be selling them on the 6th. No way. On my way out of the store, my sister calls me to let me know that the Wii is in the Target ad so to head over there because she was going there too. I figured, why not... I'm up at this time anyway. By the time I got there, there was probably about 15 people in line already. It was 720AM. I ended up chatting it up with one of the other suckers who went to Walmart that I had met. It was close to 745AM when the manager comes out to tell us his "game plan". He informed us that there were exactly 48 in stock and proceeded to count us off. I was number 18 :) By this time, I had already tried to secure my spot with my sister as well as my friend D who was at a different Target. By the end of all of this, I ended up getting a Wii and so did my sister and my friend for me. I had 3 Wiis in my name by 830AM, hehe. My sister will probably sell the extra one she got to one of my uncles, but I still have an extra Wii from my friend. I think I'm going to try to sell it to my cousins, but if they don't want it I hope I could find someone to sell it to! Let me know, people ;)
