Homemade Frozen Yogurt

I made my first attempt at making frozen yogurt last night. I had seen a recipe from 101 Cookbooks a while back that rivals Pinkberry, and I have been dying to try it out. I didn't have an ice cream maker so I bought one mainly for this reason a couple of weeks ago, hehe.

I varied the recipe a little bit by using vanilla yogurt (no need for the extract) and less ingredients. And with much preparation I have to say that it turned out ok. I only say ok because everything was great except for the consistency, which was less thick due to my and B's impatience and eagerness to try it out, something that could easily be resolved with a little more time. I added some fruit topping to give it more of a kick.

So how is it compared to Pinkberry? Personally, I like it more. Pinkberry is more tangy, mine was more sweet and much more like Yoku Yoku's italian ice. Next time, I'll probably add a little less sugar and a little more tlc :) Who wants some of my frozen yogurt???
