I wouldn't call it an obsession, but lately I've been intrigued by "old Hollywood glamour". I've always been a fan of all things retro and vintage, but I've recently started to really appreciate the classic, timeless styles and looks of old Hollywood. When I refer to this, I mean it in the broadest sense... eras in the 20s through the 60s. I've even been listening to a 50s/60s online radio station, Martini In The Morning. It's not too far off from what I enjoy listening to since I do love Michael Buble, and a lot of it is stuff I listened to while growing up (thanks to my parents) :) Perhaps my draw to it are the iconic, stylish women of that time. Or the classic beauty of the pinup girls. Or the music. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but it can't be pinpointed to just one thing. But I think because of this I'm becoming more interested in learning more about the women of the era, particularly Audrey Hepburn. Of course I loved everything about her in "Breakfast at Tiffany's", but I don't know too much more about her aside from that movie. But we can all agree that she is a style icon.


Hmm... Maybe I should be a flapper, pinup girl, or Audrey for Halloween this year... yeah right! Haha...
