Monday, June 26th, 2006A couple comments about the weekend… - Australian chocolate, especially Tim Tams, are SOOO good! - Nacho Libre is pretty friggin hilarious. I loved it! Thursday, June 22nd, 2006I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what I’m going to do for my birthday. Here are the ideas that I’ve been playing with: 1. Hawaii: Pros – It’s Hawaii… nuff said! Hehe, it’s beautiful and I could visit a/some friends if he/they are still out there 2. Las Vegas: Pros – I can watch the Pussycat Dolls show that I’ve been wanting to see, and more of my friends can party with me! Cons – Still have to plan it, some $$$ is involved, and it’s not Hawaii. 3. Napa Valley (or somewhere similar): Pros – I’ve always wanted to go wine tasting and since it’s for my birthday, why not go somewhere else besides Temecula? Cons – I’d probably only go with a few key friends/family and not everyone would be interested in going. I’ve been told it’s more of a “couple thing” anyway. Monday, June 19th, 2006This weekend turned out pretty good. I left for Home Thursday night and got stuck in a lot of rush hour traffic. It took me 3 hours to get home! When I finally got there, I was too tired to do anything else. Friday, I met up with A to have lunch. I haven’t seen him for a while! We hung out for a bit then I went home I spent a lot of Saturday shopping again and bought more stuff. I trimmed my hair in the morning. It looks about the same, just shorter obviously, hehe. The day went by really slow, which was cool. I don’t think I did much else that day. Sunday, I started the day off with a nice stroll on the beach with my sister and nephew. We went to church and then took the daddies out for lunch at The Fish Market. Yum!!! I’m still pretty tired from the weekend. Travelling is so exhausting! Tuesday, June 13th, 2006I feel a bit tired still from the weekend. I didn’t do much except shop a little and sleep, but I did attempt to go fishing with my cousin on Saturday night. We went to Redondo Beach Pier and hung out for hours and managed to catch one fish, LOL! It was cool though… I think our bait was just bad. I went to go watch XMen 3 last night, and I have to say that it was ok. For some reason, a lot of the movie was making me laugh. I don’t know what was wrong with me. I think I was just a little loopy. But c’mon… Wolverine getting his clothes ripped off by Phoenix? That’s my kind of movie I feel like I’m on an emotional rollercoaster. This past week I’ve been pretty down for a number of reasons. I’m just glad I’m surrounded by friends who care and try to cheer me up Saturday, June 10th, 2006This week was a very weird week. It took sooo freakin long for it to end, too. Aaah… I hope next week is better. A coworker had some free tickets for a soccer game and gave it to some of us at work. I went to the Galaxy vs Chivas game last night at the Home Depot Center. I had no idea that stadium was down the street. I need to be around more. Anyway, it was pretty fun. Galaxy lost, 1-2. Oh well. Yesterday was also really weird with coworkers and relationships. Sometimes people surprise you in the craziest ways, but I can’t say I completely didn’t see it coming. Tuesday, June 6th, 2006The Paul Frank sale was on Saturday and I spent a little more than I intended to! Oh well… at least I love everything I bought Anyway, the weirdest thing happened to me last night. I went to bed as usual around the same time. As I’m sleeping, I wake up in the middle of the night with that feeling like something is crawling on me. So as I lay there slapping myself and rubbing my skin, I start picking things off my skin like there are ants crawling on me. I’m thinking, ‘Is this a dream? What is going on here?’, and I realize that there really are ants crawling on me! I lay there thinking that there just must be a couple that got on the bed and I probably killed them so I’m going to go back to sleep. I was wrong. They kept crawling on me! I finally decide to get up to turn the light on and figure out what’s going on because I had to use the bathroom anyway. I turn the light on and… there are ants all over my bed!!! Not like covered in ants, but it wasn’t like 5 ants or anything. I proceed to kill them off trying to find the trail where it’s coming from, all the while thinking how the heck they got on my bed and what they were doing there. I don’t eat in my bed so it seemed really odd. I found no trail… they were just THERE. I was a little freaked out and then I looked at the clock… 12AM. Ok… at this point I’m freaked out a little more. I’m a fairly religious person but I didn’t want to think too much about this whole 06.06.06 date deal, but I couldn’t help think about it right at this moment! I think it’s my mind just overreacting, but isn’t it a strange coincidence? I hope I’m being silly… I don’t like ants crawling on me while I sleep. Monday, May 29th, 2006I finally got my car back on Friday. It took a while but I’m glad it’s taken care of already. The best part of it was I got a free car detail out of it Anyway, it was nice to have a 4-day weekend. Saturday was Maree’s graduation so I went to her house Friday to help decorate her house for the party. I’m so happy and proud of her! It was great to see almost all the family this weekend. Yesterday was a lazy day. We did a little shopping and borrowed some movies. Today was the same… some shopping and some hanging out, some driving range. Now I gotta change my mindset to work-mode for tomorrow. Boo… well at least it’s a short week! Wednesday, May 24th, 2006I went to the Dodgers game last night against the Colorado Rockies. I had a Dodger dog and it was yummy! They were doing really well but we decided to leave right before they got 4 runs in… what luck to miss that! Anyway, the highlight of my night was knowing that Tom Hanks was in the stadium!!! They showed a clip of “A League of Their Own” then faded into a shot of Mr. Hanks in his box seats. Sooo cool! Of course everyone was distracted after that moment and we were all preoccupied trying to find the one who played Robert Langdon so convincingly. Oh… John Lovitz was there, too, haha! Wednesday, May 17th, 2006I can’t wait until the week is over… but it’s barely Wednesday! Ugh… I’ve been a little stressed out and irate because of my day last Friday. Actually I’m ok, but that day just really sucked for me. It was my 9/80 day off and I started out the day hitting my first 9 holes! It was pretty fun but the last hole was SO bad then it brought my score down sooo much. I went from being 2nd place to last After lunch with the guys, I headed up to LA to shop for Mother’s Day gifts at Bloomies. As I anticipated, there was traffic. It took an hour to get there, and 2 hours to get back! I was really tired and sleepy and all I wanted was to go home and take a nap. Only a couple of blocks away from home, I get rear-ended at a stoplight. Just my luck!!! I got my estimate yesterday and I’m planning to drop off my car for repair today at lunch, but it’s such a hassle and pain in the ass. This weekend I spent Mother’s Day at Home. I’m really happy that my sister and my mom enjoyed their gifts So far this week has been uneventful, but the only thing I have to look forward to is… DA VINCI CODE on Friday!!! I’m still upset that I didn’t win a cryptex, but maybe K will let me play with hers Monday, May 8th, 2006I’m still tired from my weekend. I can’t wait to go home and sleep. I doubt it’ll be that easy. Anyway, Friday night I went out with some cousins and friends to party on a party bus! Heeeyyy! Hehe, anyway we met up with our friends at Minibar to eat some tapas and have a few drinks. After that, we partied on the bus and just drove around LA. I endured a few injuries from the ride and everyone’s inebriation, but it’s ok. Girls’ heels in your foot and ankle is never a good thing! After partying, we heifered out at Big Tomy’s. Mmm, I’ve missed that place It was one of my little cousin’s birthdays Friday so we celebrated at Boomer’s on Saturday. It was a lot of fun, but I wish I got there earlier so that I could’ve done the lasertag, bumper boats, and mini golf. After that we hung out and shopped at Irvine Spectrum then went home because we were all so exhausted. I didn’t sleep much all weekend so Sunday was sort of a lazy, whatever day. Good to sleep in my own bed last night |
